Visit the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show

The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show takes place this year on 14 – 16 September 2018.

Last year it was was rated Britain’s third best gardening event by Which?Gardening and offers much to see and learn.

Of considerable interest to all allotment growers must be the Giant Vegetable Competition.

Colossal cabbages, monumental marrows and tremendous tomatoes – there will be another gargantuan battle for top titles in the 2018 NEHS giant vegetable competition.

They may not be beautiful but they are certainly BIG and there will be 13 classes of heaviest and longest, including pumpkin, marrow, parsnip, leek, cabbage, potato, beetroot, carrot, rhubarb, runner bean and cucumber.
