Voting in this year’s Aviva Community Fund is now open and it is your chance to help secure funding for our bore hole project, “Well, well, well … Alwoodley Allotments is dry..”
We are seeking £5000 to put towards the cost of installing a bore hole. We estimate the total cost to be in the region of £12,500 however the society will make up the shortfall using limited funds already in the bank along with rents from members.
To have any chance of securing this funding, every member must vote. Not only that, they should also encourage partners, family, friends acquaintances and colleagues to do so as well.
Here’s what you have to do.
Small things make a big difference and everyone who registers gets 10 votes to cast towards helping us secure the funding that our cause needs; increasing our chances of reaching the finals. Competition is always fierce in this project and to succeed will need everyone to do their bit.
Here’s how you do it
To vote you will need to either register or, if you have already done so previously, log in. Once logged in scroll down the page and enter Alwoodley Allotment Society in the ‘Search Projects’ box. Click on the picture once it uploads and this takes you to the voting page. The rest is straightforward.
