What a difference a drain makes

It’s still early days but, after the recent heavy rain, there’s reason for cautious optimism that the new drainage channels are already having a beneficial effect.

The pond is filling rapidly and there is much less standing water on both plots and pathways.

There is of course plenty more rain rain to come in the winter  months but, fingers crossed, we and the water are heading in the right direction.
