Thar she blows

bore hole

While our project has not been selected as one of the Aviva award winners, the judges did see something special in our project.

For that reason it has been chosen for one of the ‘Judges’ Choice awards’ and we’ll receive £3750 in funding – around 75% of the requested amount.

Although not quite the £5k we had been looking for it does mean, that when added to our existing funds, we can probably begin work in the spring.

Once complete we can  look forward to installing a sustainable water supply and bringing an end for members having to carry heavy containers of water to their plots.

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard in preparing the application and those who voted to help us secure this vital funding.
