Something fishy going on

Fish

The appearance of up to thirty assorted fish in our wildlife pond has created something of a stir.

They were first spotted by plot holder John Fuller-Carp on Sunday when he went to look for the top of his water butt which had gone missing after the recent gales.

You can imagine his surprise at the sight of all these fish cruising around. We can only surmise that someone has filled in their garden pond and released the fish here.

We don’t know who’s responsible but a fishy looking character was seen acting rather coy near the pond late on Sunday by a volunteer working at Hope Pastures horse sanctuary.

If you go to the pond to see them please take great care as we would hate to see anyone falling for this.
