Chairman’s Musings

The visit by council officials went very well and I even received an apology from one long-standing critic of Alwoodley Allotments.

In the very early days she was vociferous in her belief that we wouldn’t find enough people interested in allotments in Alwoodley but admitted how wrong she had been.

Please support the Share our Surplus initiative being led by Ann Williams and help people in the area who are less fortunate than ourselves by donating your surplus produce.

You will be delighted to learn that the drilling for the bore hole has been completed and we now move onto the next phase which will see the installation of a generator, pump and large storage tank.

Details of the Annual General Meeting and next year’s subs will appear in the next issue, so until then enjoy the fuits of your labour.
