S.O.S. Share our Surplus

Vegetables

It has, generally speaking, been a very productive year on the allotments so far

This invariably will result in there being gluts of certain crops such as potatoes, courgettes and beans.

If you have a surplus of produce don’t let it go to waste.

There are children in our area who are going without a decent meal during the school holidays and whole families who are struggling in these austere times.

Ann Williams on plot 17 has connections with an organisation which collects and distributes produce to relieve hunger in our area.

To make a donation(s) either visit Anne on her plot or alternatively contact Derek Hatton at derek@alwoodleygrowers.co.uk  or see him on plot 50.  He then will pass on your interest to Anne.

Thanking you in advance of your generosity.
