Two bird boxes were recently installed on the site by up by Martin Calvert (Chair) of Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods.
Thanks to Martin Calvert and allotment holder Diana Hector for making this happen. The bird boxes can be found down in the corner of the field by the horses.
Martin said that from February we can expect some birds being interested in making the boxes their nesting homes. If successful we can look to add more boxes around the site.
