Wildflower meadow working party 28th and 29th March

Our countryside was once full of meadows bursting with a gorgeous variety of flowering plants, supporting butterflies, insects, farmland birds and other wildlife.

But since the 1930s, we have lost over 99% of what are called ‘unimproved grasslands’, and those that are left are fragmented.

However, you we are planning to create something of the same feel on our allotment site and will be holding a working party over the weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March to get the project moving.
