King Lane Closed 16th March

We have been informed by Northern Gas Networks that they will begin the next phase of their gas main replacement works on King Lane on Monday 16^th March for approximately 5 weeks

Given the narrow width of the road they are unable to safely maintain access for vehicles so the road will have to be closed from The Avenue to Alwoodley Lane with a signed diversion route in place

Advanced warning signs are being installed in the area to alert regular users of this road of what to expect and when.

This will obviously impact on those wishing to visit the site but we are a determined and resourceful lot and will eventually find an alternative route.
