Fruit & Vegetable Growing Guide for April

Vegetable growing really normally takes off this month but, as we are all too well aware, this month is anything but ordinary.  However, we allotmenteers must, as ever, plan for the future.

First and second early potatoes should have gone in by now, with maincrop potatoes following in the second half of the month. It’s also time to sow seed outdoors in well-prepared soil.
