As a member of Alwoodley Allotment Society you are fully insured under the National Allotment Society’s personal liability insurance scheme as part of your annual subscription.
However helpers and visitors to your plot are not covered and must take out their own insurance or face the prospect of being sued should any accidents occur to third parties as a result of their negligence.
Many of your helpers have already signed up to this insurance, but for those who haven’t it is available from the Society at an annual cost of just £3.
We strongly advise that regular helpers and visitors take out this insurance by contacting our Membership Secretary Nick Coulter
