September’s Musings

As we head into Autumn it is hugely rewarding to look back on what has been not just a successful year on the allotment, but to reflect on how far we have progressed as a society in just a few short years.

To go from an overgrown farmer’s field in 2016 to a thriving allotment community in 2019 is little short of amazing.

Steadily, bit by bit, year on year we have added and improved both facilities and resources to the point where most major projects have now been completed or are close to being so.

The next stage of our development needs to be discussed and approved, and the next AGM is the ideal time to do so.

Please try and attend, it is your opportunity to put forward your views and get involved in the ongoing development of Alwoodley Allotment Society.

I look forward to seeing you there.
