Leeds Allotment Federation Learning Day

Leeds Allotment Federation has organised a free Learning Day for allotment holders in Leeds.

The half-day event will take place on Saturday 19th October and run from 1 to 5 pm.

It will consist of four talks covering subjects such as Looking after your Back on the Allotment (a talk by local physiotherapists), Planning for a 12 month Harvest (requested at the last Learning Day), After the Harvest (what to do with your produce) and a general Allotment Gardeners Question Time session.

Please take written questions for the Question Time session with you and these will be collected at the door and the most suitable selected for answer in the time available.

Tea, coffee and cakes/biscuits will be provided free of charge. The organisers will provide gluten free food, but attendees with other dietary requirements should bring their own snacks for consumption during the tea break.

As anyone who has attended previous events can testify, not only are they extremely informative but also very popular and early booking is essential.
