Many thanks to everyone who took part in our recent survey regarding the shortfall in funding for the borehole and the options available.
The result was 54 plot holders agreeing to paying a £25 surcharge, with just one objection and 16 abstainers.
As you can see, the outcome was overwhelmingly in favour of plot holders paying a one-off fee of £25 to enable us to get the project moving and subsequently we will proceed on this basis.
However we recognise the unfairness of a situation that allows those plot holders who have not contributed anything, to benefit equally with those that have.
We have decided therefore that anyone who pays the £25 surcharge will receive a £10 reduction in their annual subscriptions for the next three years by way of a small thank you.
